ABOUT AART:
All proceeds benefit All Ages Read Together (AART), a 501(c)(3), to support their mission in providing free kindergarten readiness programs to underserved families and children right in their communities.
Preschool has the potential to have a long-lasting impact on children and can change their entire life trajectory. AART serves children who fall outside of the established publicly funded programs who would otherwise be deprived of a preschool experience without this free option.
Statistics show that low-income students who do not have any preschool classroom experience are nearly 20-months behind their high-income peers when entering kindergarten at the age of 5 and those who do not master basic reading skills by the third grade are six times more likely to drop out of school without a diploma.
AART prepares these vulnerable learners with a positive and nurturing classroom experience delivered by experienced teachers, bilingual assistants, and volunteers of all ages. A child ready for school will succeed in school.
