ABOUT AART:

Preschool has the potential to have a long-lasting impact on children and can change their entire life trajectory; however, in our region, there is a severe preschool opportunity gap for children living in under-resourced communities and middle-income families.

  • AART serves working class families who do not qualify for publicly funded programs and cannot afford the cost of preschool.
  • Statistics show that low-income students who do not have any preschool classroom experience are 12-14 months behind their high-income peers when entering kindergarten, and those who do not master basic reading skills by the third grade are six times more likely to drop out of school without a diploma.
  • AART prepares these vulnerable learners with a positive and nurturing classroom experience delivered by experienced teachers, bilingual assistants, and volunteers of all ages. A child ready for school will succeed in school.

A portion of your ticket purchase is tax-deductible. We appreciate your support as it helps AART continue to deliver critical preschool programming for individuals in your community.

A big thank you to our sponsors!
