For Success in Kindergarten and Beyond!
Participate in the AART Read-A-Thon by reading and donating to All Ages Read Together. Great for book clubs to participate in as well as individuals and families! It is easy to participate - simply make a donation of any amount and commit to read. That's it! No logging of hours or books. If you make a donation as a book club, you can note that with the name of the book club. Alternatively, if a book club would rather donate with a check or cash, please reach out to Michelle Sullivan, Executive Director of AART at michelles@allagesreadtogether.org. She will make arrangements with your club. Each week during the Read-A-Thon, we will draw two names of participants to receive prizes. Winners will be contacted directly and posted on our Facebook page. Be sure to post photos and books that you are reading on our Facebook page.
By encouraging a love of reading, the AART Read-A-Thon will raise awareness and funds for AART programs in Northern Virginia, including Leesburg, Sterling, Herndon, and Alexandria. AART is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating children in need with free preschool programs in their communities. AART classes serve 4 and 5 year olds who are not able to enroll in publicly funded preschool. All donations from the Read-A-Thon support AART programs to prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond. If you prefer, checks may be made payable to All Ages Read Together and mailed to AART, 1141 Elden Street, Suite 200, Herndon, VA 20170.
